Footnote

Ah ... its the end of the work week again. Worked till fairly late this week, record of reaching home at 4 am on Thursday morning. My PM,aka project manager, kept asking me to arrange this on Sat, that on Sat. Since I am on officially 5 day work wk, just kept quiet and arranged those activities on wk days. Haha, think she will have a fit but thats life.

Wierd thing happened today. Junior, my sis's vespa had the key pulled out and engine still ran. I was stunned. Poked the key in and it was already in off and handle bar locked position. So turn to start position and off again. Engine was still running very healthily.Tried a couple of times and just stare at the wierd scene. Then Junior decided to behave>!>?!??! And engine stopped as if key was turned to off position. This was repeated on a smaller scale in the evening when I travelled on Junior again.

Evening was eventfully spent at Revenue House where there is a franchise Jap restauraut. Nice food. Nice place. Free bike parkng. Ekekek.

Drinks at Liquid Kitchen Thomson was really okay. The alfresco area was cool after the night rain and perfect for a drink and chat session. I had a lot to drink. Started off with a flaming Lamborgini, followed by a single shot of Terminator, a dry Martini,a special shot on the house courtesy of the manager ( Kahlua & Bailey mixed with samua or something. If bailey replaced by butterscotch, it is called something vulgar haha) and ended off with Erlinger light. My eyes are heavy and chest a bit constricted as I type this bloggg..... signing off... Wk End

Sales everywhere but what is there to buy?!?! Brought a skirt which I dun think I will wear, bought a notebook which I have too many uses for, bought a couple of books to burn a big hole in my pocket. Can't find the black shoes which I ought to be looking hard for after walking one round through all the shoe shops and departmental stores. That is rather demoralising since I think black shoes are standard foot wear.

On a happier note, I had delicious food. Velvety mushroom soup with Asian Tofu. All that was left is a stalk of ...some greenie veg, which I dropped on to the table and thus left it there. Venue : Soup Spoon, Basement Raffles Shopping Centre.

And now on a Saturday night, which I am tempted to go riding since its nice cool weather, I must clear up my room asap as my sister is coming home tomo. I am going to be slaughtered... poor me... my ears... Then again, I ought to clear up as it is a big mess. Ekekekeke... Procrastination will get me nowhere.

BakZhang Festival

Its Bak Zhang festival again... in memory of Mr. Qu Yuan of ... I believe the Song Dynasty!?!?! The poet whom... if I don't recreate my own version of H.i.s.t.o.r.y, only became really famous after his death fall into the river... thus people threw Bak Zhangs into the river. So the fishes wun eat his body. Something dun add up in my account...hm... nevertheless, happy festival to all out there!

Me had 2 BakZhangs, one on behalf of me sis who dun have any to eat at where she is now and one for myself... *Burp@~~@~~ Nonya Zhangs, our fave!

This is Isabella my first bike! Dropped her on the 5th day of getting her. Heart was in pain. Sakit ah! Used to be very on about wiping her down and cleaning her up. She was gleaming ... after 6 months, I am okay with seeing dirt on her. Dun feel the need to clean her up liao. Neverthe less, still maintain stuff like warming up before riding and not throttling up till after some distance.

I dun read on the toilet bowl but loved the orange hood fellow and its cool attititude!~~LOL\\\ Relaxed, laid back and quirkyekeke
